Quad or Six Core AMD

Which is better a AMD FX-4130 or an AMD FX-6100? The 4 has a better Futuremark score but the 6 has 6 cores....
Also my other concern is cost to and if anybody could find a good or better processor than these for the same or lower that would be great....

for gaming get the fx 6300 for video editing get the 8150. I would still get the fx 6300 even though I'm editing, the vishera just have a better architecture.

The FX6300...especially if you plan to overclock. If you want 8 cores go with the FX8320.

If you have need of the FX4130, you'll appreciate the FX6300.

The FX6300 will push the GTX660Ti as well as anything else would. Your bottleneck would more likely be the GPU before the CPU.

Your frame rates will be high and you will kill many things in video games.

8 GB RAM is fine, just make sure you get DDR3-1600 MHz at least...if you can find a deal on 1866 MHz grab that up.

Quad core AMD Phenom II from 2.8 to 3.7 GHz will perform wonderfully. You need 4GB RAM or 8GB depending on the game and of course a middle level NVidia or ATI video card. I purchased EVGA's GeForce 760 GTX 2GB PCI-e. I play Tiger Woods PC PGA 2008 and do lot's of video editing.

You can view the specs under the video and if your specs are close to mine you've got a good gaming computer.
