Hi I would really like your help as I'm afraid the temps might ruin my comp.

I'm a gamer and currently have an Alienware laptop m17x:

i7-2670QM @2.2 (quad core)

The GPU doesn't max over 60C which is still high. I don't have a cooling pad at the moment, going to be getting the Cooler Master NotePal U3 with 3 adjustable fans in a few days.

In short, I've been gaming on this laptop for about 9 months and it's starting to push 95C max on my cores so I stopped. Do you think it's dust + no cooling pad?

Any suggestions would help, I've heard that these were made to run hot but I need to make sure, don't want to ruin this baby.

Thanks for any help in advance!

UPDATE: I cleaned the fans thoroughly today and my gaming after 20 min never maxed over 75. Getting the cooling pad x3 fans soon and that should drop it another 5C.

Cooling fans and vents are clean now, they were ridiculously dirty. Idle around 50C now and gaming max at 75C, still a bit hot but once the cooling pad comes in is 70C safe for max on cores?
