I still need a few other things, but wanted to make sure I'm heading in the right path and that all of things will work together. Normally I just play a few MMO's and first person shooters but would actually like to be able to play most games on great settings.

Hard drives all look the same to me and I can't decide on which to get. If anyone could steer me into the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. If you could also link me to a site with pre built gaming computers that would fit my need that would be appreciated as well. I'm looking to keep the total cost under $800.oo USD.

Switch the CPU for an fx-6300 and get a cheaper motherboard. ($80 range)

Get a HDD from Western Digital or Seagate. 7200rpm SATA

Get a 500w PSU from Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic

Get the cheapest DVD drive you can find

Buying a prebuilt will result in wasted money on worse parts. Its ALWAYS better to build it yourself.

Given the little things I've been reading, I'm thinking about this build. Any advice before I start buying parts? Is it all compatible? Any help, critical or not, is welcome. All of this is putting me roughly at $750.
