Can I flash a Sapphire 7770 Vbios on my XFX 7770?

I have a XFX 7770 with clock rates of 1000/1125, Can I flash a sapphire 7770 vbios with clock rates of 1150/1550 onto my xfx 7770?
Should I use ATIwinflash or ATI dos tool?

the guy I bought it off said that he flashed an asus vbios for the 7770 on it becuase it allowed him to overclock to 1300/1600. I met him at the mall, and he told me to flash an alternative bios.
