AMD HD7970 Crossfire Grey screen tear

so i randomly get a screen tear for split sec every now and then and its noticeable with a slight greyish line dead center of screen but its for 1milisec, now i did have GSOD on firefox watching youtube, googled that and was told supose be fixed ages ago, but never happen again though. anyone experienced this with AMD? and is my cards bad or what?

What cards do you have? I heard with 7970s if you crossfire two different manufacturer's cards it will cause issues; the thread I read mentioned XFX and Sapphire specifically. Have you tried to test the cards individually to make sure each one works?

i has not overclocked my GPU as of yet they are on Stock OC settings and both are gigabyte HD 7970's OC editions and i has latest drivers 13.4, i been googleing and i has turned of windows aero and among many other things, i still only had one Grey screen of death during youtube video with firefox, not crash from google chrome though, i also disable hardware acceleration

and i don't know if ULPS is on or off, what is odd is during gaming i has not noticed this issue only during desktop .

Just gone and checked my ULPS in reg and it's set to 0 already. meaning its off. apparently...

just like point out this tear grey line that appears for mili sec does not happen often..
