My Friend has the following configuration:
Mother Board:Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Motherboard
Graphics:HD 6670 1GB DDR5
Processor :FX-4100
Ram:Corsair Vengeance+HeatSink DDR3 4 GB 1600MHz x2

Please recommend a good PSU that would meet the minimum power supply required to run the above CPU.

Corsair is a good brand as is XFX, Seasonic, Antec, BeQuiet!, FSP, SuperFlower, but even sticking to those brands, checking independant reviews by such websites as JonnyGuru, HardwareSecrets, and others which can be found here http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm can go far to avoid undesirable PSU's
I would think 400W-500W would be plenty
