Hi,
I have HP Pavilion a6432f desktop with M2N68-LA (Narra3) motherboard, 3GB RAM and AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHz processor. Currently it has nVidia GeForce 6150SE card with VGA out and I am running Windows 8 64 bit. I need to upgrade the graphics card because I need an HDMI out. My use of graphics is limited to watching videos (I do wanna play 3D videos from this desktop to my TV).
Please advise what would be my cheapest yet reliable option.

Thanks

Your computer (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=120&prodSeriesId=3677047&prodTypeId=12454&objectID=c01434859)

Correct? Has a 230W power supply. The G210 card has a minimum requirement of 300W. It's very difficult finding a decent card with a lower requirement. Give me a few minutes and I'll look around/

I'll add one more thing to my post above, the card might be able to run, but if you start playing a video, the card would draw more power and eventually crap out because of starvation.

You could remove the DVD drive connection to the motherboard to allow more power to the graphics card. It may or may not just give your card enough power. It might not work and I wouldn't recommend it.
