My Asus laptop screen is purple!!

Ok this morning I turned on my Asus S550c (it's touch screen) and when you start it up it goes purple no symbol just the mouse icon appears.what should I do and why is this happening??? PLEASE HELP it would be much appreciated

LCD or LCD cable is the problem.
