Im some what new to building a pc question on PSU unit plugs. I bought the OCZ Z series 850w psu.

Cables already attached are the 24 pin for motherboard im assuming.

Has the sata connectors for drives etc..

Than remaining cables already coming out of the PSU are an 8 pin and two 4 pins. Assuming the 8 pin is for the CPU. Not sure what to use the other two 4 pin connectors for.

My GPU is the

and it requires an 8 pin and a 6 pin connector. Im just honestly not sure which cables to use and which 12v rail to use on my PSU. ?

Do I use the two extra 4 pins to my 8 slot on the GPU. or just leave those alone and use the yellow 8pin PCIE cable that came with it and another PCIE yellow cable and break away 2 pins for the 6 connector? Than just not sure which rail to use??

Pleas help, thanks

It is a single rail power supply.

Just connect the 6+2 and connect and another 6+2 and use those to run the video card. The cpu should be fine with the 2+2 cable, you can tuck the other one away as you do not have a board that needs it(or use the 8 and stash the 4+4).

ok so Just take 2 of the 6+2 cables that came in the bag and use those for the GPU? and it doesnt matter which yellow plugs I use on the PSU? like two on top next to eachother or do I use the one on top and one on the bottom? Just dont know If I mix the differnt labled voltages or use the same pairs?
