I have a brand new PC I assembled, I set it up for windows 7, after windows 7 installation, few minutes my system suddenly shuts down and don't turn on unless I switch off the psu or unplug it from the socket. Any answer??

Wade I start by booting into the mb bios and look at the Heath screen and see if the CPU cooler is spinning and cooling the CPU. If the CPU cooler on right your temp should be in the mid 30c to mid 40c depending on your cooling set up and room temp. If the CPU hitting 60c or more then the cooler not on right or not spinning. With the pc off check that the 24 and the four..eight pin pci power plugs are connected and in tight. If it was not a heat issue then your looking at a power issue. It could be you have a cheap or under sized power supply. You can check this by pulling the gpu and running on onboard gpu if your system has it.
