I accidentally deleted folders on my NAS (goflex home 1TB running Linux - Axentra HipServ OS). How do I recover the folders using TP tools. Its network attached

Thanks for your solutions. I've download Seagate Recovery, UFS and a few others ... all of them require the NAS to be attached as a local disk on the PC. Is there no software that scans drives on the network (without having to use a SATA/USB adapter kit, which I don't have presently) ... ? I'm sure the Seagate guys who offer "remote recovery for $199" must have a tool to do so remotely?

I beleive they have remote access to the nas's OS to do this. You on the other hand will need to remove a drive from your NAS and install it into your pc. I beleive the seagate black armour series has a built in recycle bin but the goflex line does not.
