Is now a good time to buy?

So it seems like there's a lot in the works. I know, it always does. But with some new platforms coming out does it make sense to buy now with proven components? Wait until the new lines come out to buy?

Thoughts and opinions.

I'm thinking 3930k is the best value (yeah I know TH fanbois the 3570 does the same thing) but with the new platforms coming out if I buy now I might get smoke by new tech.

I think we're near some pivotal moments in CPU/MB/GPU tech and if I wait 3 months the discreet packages might get smoked by integrated Intel BS... did I say BS? I meant goodness.

I can SM but Haswell looks like a mixed bag to me. I can always wait for the the fury to take over and drop the price of the 3930k...
