None to my knowledge, at least for consumers. Most are limited to 300FT, less then 300meters. Some of the better ones can do 450-500FT, but none do 1km. The other issue you'd have is a wireless card that can do 1km.

Assuming you mean 1000 METERS or 1 km, linear not area, even with a perfect area of coverage (flat or below, not obstacles with perfect line of site) that's a pretty tall order. Is this a consumer/hobby usage or professional? Consumer products you should consider linking several routers with some type of bridging/repeaters/WDS. You can use cheap routers (under $30) with DD-WRT firmware if they are Broadcom based and you are comfortable with basic networking and firmware flashing. Or you could purchase out-out-the repeaters to fit the location (wired, wireless, powerline, etc. ~$100) If this is for a commercial or professional, there are plenty products -rather "solutions"- at the price and supports levels one would expect. Same stuff they put on top of a telephone phone or power tower is some areas.

Again, none that I've seen. Did you look at the link I included? What's the max indoor range for these things? They can barely do 300FT, let alone 1km. You are going to need a lot of repeaters like abbadon said. And as I said even if you could fine a single router that can do 1km, good luck finding the wireless cards that can do it as well.

yes it is 1000 meters = 1Km . it is for professional use. D link and Cisco is our 1st chose . Need specific model number for best performance .
If possible suggest us. which is better .

The problem you have is if you stay on unlicensed bands you are very limited to distance. This is why people are saying it won't go that distance. You can put in point to point connections with special antenna but it sound like you want a central point to end devices and that will not work at the distance you want.

With your mention of WIMAX it now implies that you intend to use licensed radio bands.

So the first question is what radio license do you feel you can obtain that will allow you to transmit using these technologies. This is the expensive part.

WiMax is a going to be a dead technology the future is LTE. You will need to contact one of the large LTE suppliers and see what they can offer. Ericsson,Alcatel-Lucent and Huawei are the largest.

I suspect a better option is going to be to buy wireless service from a existing provider that already has the licenses and run VPN over the top of it.

If you already have a broadband line at one end, get a second at the other end and settup VPN gateways.

Yes wimax , can not give that range . We have to find some better option . thats why i mention the radio link. but i already contact with D link canada office . they will suggest us of this solution.

And To das_stig -Wireless VPN solution is good choice. but how much distance the device cover - that is the question. We are contacting with the D-link and cisco .

a hearty thanks to all of you guys for suggesting me.

Dear All friend who have given their advice to me. i really thanks to all. I got the solution in both side wifi wimax and wireless radio link solution.

Wimax device is very costly and some limitation for transmitting the data. 880 meter it can Cover .

On the other hand wireless raido link is good and less cheaper than that device.

Like I said, get a cheap telephone/cable broadband in with a static IP and just setup a secure connect between both sites.
