That could be a heat related issue. Could be your PSU (power supply unit) or the thermal paste on your processor has dried off. Your machine keeps beeping to alert you there could be a possible overheat, hence the hanging. I suggest you visit the nearest repair shop if you can't check your hardware yourself.
