Is my $1000 build any good?

I don't see anything terribly wrong with it. Any particular reason you're using the Zalman instead of a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo?

I'd swap out the cooler for a Hyper 212 Evo. The one you listed looks nice, but the review I just read (http://techreport.com/review/8922/zalman-cnps9500-led-cpu-cooler/5) validated it for dual-core cpu's. I wouldn't trust it to keep a 3570k cool under a mild overclock.

yeah, but the antec 300 isn't a very big case, and i was wondering if the Hyper 212 Evo would fit! Also not to keen on the colour! Seems like a standard cooler though! Any reasons why no to get it?
