is it just the wrong memory or too much for the CPU?

Hi.
I have been forced to upgrade my PC, after i fried my mainboard, so i opgraded from a AMD Phenom Quad 9950 with a Asus Crosshair I to a AMD FX-8120 on a Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z mainbord and some kingston RAM, the RAM is where I think is getting “the slow” from, the new RAM or a set of Kingston's KHX16C10B1K2/16X http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KHX16C10B1K2_16X.pdf
is the Intel mark, at the corner really where the problem is? Or is it facets that its just the wrong setup? If new/other RAMs can help, i would love to know what I should choose.

A frind of my, has a core 2 q9450 and girlfrind is a Pentium E2160 and all a lot faster than my

My system is
AMD FX-8120 Black Edition coold by a Corsair Hydro Series H80
ASUS CROSSHAIR V FORMULA-Z
Kingston 16GB DDR3 1600MHz (2x8) HyperX KHX16C10B1K2/16X
2 x Western Digital Velociraptor 300GB RAID 0

all so I tryd it here.

Which slots do you have the memory in?

For 2 DIMMS they should be in the 2 RED slots.

If they're in 1 red and 1 black you're in Single Channel mode and that would HALF your memory bandwidth, which would explain a lot.

Yes, i always install windows at new when i get new hardware, even if is not needed. how ever this time the raid controller requires a format/reinstall :)

No, you want to keep 2 populated, or it will go into single channel mode.

You can run this from a bootable ISO.

when I load the game menu it goes fast enough, it's when I load a level up is slow, well yes, als you say, i can see it could be the disk, but it is offset to the RAM first, I feel the disks is fast enough. here is a problem then, why is it so slow to calculate IP (see above superIP) is hardly useing the HDD for that, right?
but tell me definitively if I'm wrong, and why.

and yes, the discs ran super in the old system.
