I've pointed it out in a few threads already, but when I upgraded my 6870 to a 7850 on a 3.8Ghz 965BE I didn't notice any difference at all (1080p) . . . So yeah, it probably will.

Yeah. But not as bad as people will claim. But you'll at least see a more stable frame rate. If you OC, you'll also get better FPS.

And, if you're playing on a 60Hz monitor, anything over 60FPS can cause screen tearing. Which is why I usually turn on VSYNC. But if you want over 60 FPS, 660 SLI can and will provide that, even with your phenom 965. If you want to upgrade CPUs, I would recommend an i5. But AMD SteamRoller CPUs are coming Q1 of next year. So if you can hold off... You'll get better performance for your $$$

Maybe a slight bottleneck.

I doubt it since they are only 192 bit cards. Try raising the clockspeed and see if it makes any difference.

Yes, slightly. It will still give you much better FPS than a single 660.

I have the same processor with 2 570s in sli and it runs just fine. The only time i overclock is to run benchmarks. for everyday use its fine. Is your motherboard am3+? you could try a 6 or 8 core cpu. If you want to switch over to intel i would go for an i7. i doubt it would bottleneck 1 of those cards however. Your existing processor will overclock to 4ghz at 1.45 volts and run all day long if you need it to. You will need an aftermarket cooler though.
