Been a while since I last posted but I need help. I just purchased a MSI 7870 and after I connected everything and started it up all I got was the sound from booting up. I can't see the bios and the integrated graphics won't even work with the card attached. I have to take the card out to be able to see anything.
I have an Asrock extreme4 z77 board and an i5 2500k processor. I was wondering if my card is doa or if there's something I'm missing.
So far I have updated the bios, dusted the pci slots, used both pci slots, used every combination of 6 pins I have, seated and reseated, gone through all the setting in bios that relate to the card, and cursing at it loudly.
