Multiple screens, plenty of mmo windows <$800

Good day! I am interested in building a system capable of running 20ish windows of an mmo game (characters mostly passively sitting in non-crowded areas) on multiple screens, while being able to do other stuff occasionally. The budget is under 800 bucks. By the looks of it, it is possible to fit in something among the lines of FX8120, 16gigs of ram and something like a 7770 or a 650 ti. There is no need for a large capacity HDD, I would prefer to fit in a 100ish gig SSD to make the system snappier. I would also like to fit all this into a relatively slim case (something similar to the cooler master elite 120, perhaps). Anyway, I would like to hear the opinions of the local gurus on:

  • ■Cooling: I know zero to nothing about it, need advice.
■Performance: what should I focus on? CPU/RAM/GPU? VRAM speed or capacity? Is the aforementioned hardware capable of performing the task?
■Everything else: any input is appreciated.

how many screens? resolutions of screens? ram is expensive right now, may just look into 8gb to start out and fits the budget better. Samsung 840 120gb ssd goes for like $90. are you gong to need more hdd space than that? would 500gb or 120 enough? what other stuff are you going to be doing? browser? music? video?

That depends highly on which MMO and what kind of performance you need. Most of them will probably want more memory and cpu performance, and w/o using some video compositing proxy, I wouldn't expect nvidia or ATI's drivers to be stable enough for it - plus you'ld probably need a lot of video memory to prevent constant thrashing of texture cache.

At least two screens, most probably fullhd. I will probably not need more than 100 gigs of hd space, probably not more than 80, in fact. Other than the main task, I will have a browser running with about 5-ish tabs constantly open, a spreadsheet or two and occasionally some light image processing.

That MMO is WOW and, as I said, it will be running almost passively most of the time.
