I noticed while playing some games I am getting Artifacts (A lot of floating textures and sometimes model textures freak out off of guns and stuff). Why is this? and How do I fix this?

Specs:
-GTX 680 2gb
-Sabertooth z77
-Intel i7-3770k
-Corsair 16GB 1600MHz (only using 4gb because of the 32bit)
-Thermaltake Smart Series 850w
-Windows Ultimate 32bit

At the minute I'm using a TV instead of an actual computer monitor. I also haven't overclocked.

Any ideas? thanks

- The drivers are all up to date.
- The GPU temps go between 41-49 while playing Sniper Elite: nazi zombie army (the fan speed is set to 50%)
- Sniper Elite: nazi zombie army and stalker: shadow of chernobyl. In sniper elite it happens after playing for about 30+ minutes but in stalker after playing for around 3-4minutes it happens. It doesnt happen in dead space 2 though which is weird.
- I've tried changing the cables and it didnt fix it.

still happens :(
Is the graphic card broke?

Thank you for replying.

Most of what would cause the problems have been ruled out. Cables good, drivers good, system not using up all the ram, gpu running cool, gpu also works fine in one other game. Based on some quick searched you dont seem to be the only one with artifact issues in the game you listed. I would try other games before giving a full clear of the gpu.

There are some free benchmarks and games that you can try out to see if the issue is game specific.

Planetside: https://www.planetside2.com/
Warframe: https://warframe.com/

My bet is that the issue is game specific. http://www.anandtech.com/show/6913/nvidia-r319-series-beta-driver-32000-available
Seems like there has been some work on the game. http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/59640

If you see artifacts in other games, your gpu is the issue.

One last thing turn off tessellation and see if it helps.

Sorry for the super late reply.

So I tried a different game, Skyrim. I played it for about 55minutes and didnt see any artifacts at all.
what does this mean?
is it just them games or could it still possibly be my GPU?
