I am about to order the H100i but I just learned that to make it fit on my case (Rosewill Thor V2) I will need to spend a few bucks on TWO 120mm "thin" fans that will replace the stock ones from corsair.

Thanks in advance =)

What's the top look like? A better option might be mounting the fans externally.

The trouble is that thin fans have worse performance and more noise, which kinda counters the point of having a water cooler.

Ah. So that's a no on external fans, then. :p

If you have to have 20mm, then this would be your best bet: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7558/fan-454/Yate_Loo...

If you want even thinner, Gelid makes nice 15mm thick fans: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And scythe used to make 12mm fans, but they're almost impossible to find and they sucked anyways.

I looked at the Gelid slim ones but do they have black or red slim ones? i couldnt find none.

I don't believe they do, no.

When it comes to slim fans, you're going to have to go with what you can find; they aren't common.
