i have bought a graphic card from my friend. I have connected it and it was working.. i dont know why,i.e its not working (when i turn on the computer the monitor sleeps, it shows orange light...). so i took the monitor cable and connect it to ordinary port (not graphic cards)... the monitor is working.. so please get me solutions to get my monitor work with graphics card.

That means that your graphics card is not fully installed. Make sure it's seated in the PCIe slot correctly, and that all power cables are plugged into it.
Also look in your bios and make sure that all graphics options are set to PCI, not onboard.
