I agree with bigcyco1. Steelseries>Razer IMHO. I have had bad experience with all of my Razer products (no joke) including headset, mouse, keyboard, and even mousepad. Everything broke within 3 months, and the mousepad attracted way to much and was hard to clean...but maybe that is just me. 0 problems with my 8 month old Logitech G930/G700s, if you want to take that brand into consideration. I know this really sounds like fanboying, but I might just have the worst luck when it comes to peripherals.

i would say stay away from the siberia v2. it may be that i am, unlucky but i had to deal with their support (which was abysmal) on two seperate occasions because of the microphone dying. the first time the static coming through the mic was so loud that my teammates would often mute me. the second time after a week of rolling the mic into the earcup it would only work if pulled out very slightly and no one could hear me. between each problem it took me over a month to rectify the issue. that said if you get a good one they are excellent while functional. i since broke my boycott and got a Sensei mouse and am very happy. i would say go with the kraken for peace of mind. also i have loved all my razer products- blackwidow ultimate + nostromo. very good products imo

And can someone tell me which has better sound quality because in specs the Siberia should have better sound but I read that the Razer's are with better bass and more comfortable.

you definitely cant get any more comfortable than the v2. i wear glasses and even i forgot i was wearing then after ten minutes. as far as the sound is concerned it is superb for a gaming headset. the only issue was the mic

Hey bud, sorry to hear you had a bad experience with SteelSeries and specifically with our customer service. We pride ourselves on providing excellent post-sales service and literally try to jump through hoops and do backflips to do make our customers happy ;)

I realize that we haven't always been stellar though and things can occasionally go wrong with shipping/receiving so if you can please provide me with the ticket numbers where you experienced sub-par service, I'll make sure to review and rectify the situation. If there is nothing we can do at this point to make your experience better, I'll send you a free QcK mousepad just for taking the time to respond and point out our service failures. Sorry once more about your (and anyone else's) negative experience with support.

If anyone here had a bad experience, please create a ticket on our system and cite my response in this thread AND your ticket number so I can do that same for you.
