evga sli classified can't detect my plextor m5pro 128gb pls help

can anyone pls help me its been 2 days and i cant seem to find a solution thanks in advance for all your help
 
Solution
I would try upgrading the drives firmware. You'll probably need that toher computer to do it. If that doesnt work I'd be contacting Plextor

thanks man i appreciate this. i did reformat it already the thing is whenever i connect my hdd and my ssd, the bios detect my hdd but my ssd dont. btw i used my other pc just to reformat the ssd.

i believe its in ahci mode

Not for windows7 or up. They have drivers built in.

First remove any overclock you may have.

Make sure the drive is on the lowest numbered chipset sata port which are the two blacks ones right next to the red ones.

Next boot up and go into the bios and make sure your ssd is being seen there, if it isn't windows wont see it either.

Unfortunately all your sata ports are sata2 and you will not get full speed from your new SSD.

all settings in bios is default and still i cant see my ssd, i put it on sata 0 and tried it in sata 1, still cant see my ssd what seems to be wrong?
tried it in my another computer installed the os drivers etc. it seems to be working fine. thanks again for the reply i hope u understood my poor english :)

the drive is plugged into one of the two black sata ports right next to the two red ones? (note there are two ports stacked one on top of the other, just to be clear)

yes tried it to the bottom and the top, still it doesnt detect my ssd.

in addition to this i tried uninstalling the ide controllers and restarted my pc just in case, while my ssd is connected. still nothing happens

thought of that too but there's plenty of time and i want to learn more. :)

did that too already my plextor m5 pro fw is 1.03. is it broken or should i return it to the store where i bought it?

btw my other pc's board is m4n68t-m i just dont dont understand, my classified board is older than the asus m4n68t-m?
