Nvidia Titan vs 2 AMD 6950`s

Does anyone know if a Solo GTX Titan by it self would be an upgrade from (2) XFX 6950` in crossfire. I play battlefield 3 constantly and running fraps I get some pretty decent frame rates but there still seems to be alot of lag in all out combat. Farcry 3 you have to disable crossfire to play the game...Im tired of AMD issues. I have checked Toms charts and I can see that the titan is kick butt ..BUT it does not show my cards in Crossfire so a fair comparison is needed. I believe the basic structure of Nvidia is better and all I want is smooth lag free game play. I am running a Gigabyte z77x up4 th mbo with a 3770k proc and 16 gig of corsair ram. For multiplayer I have FIOS so loads of power and my bandwidth is not an issue.

If you really are ok with spending that much money then it will work (and you would probably be happy with it)...it is overpriced though. But yes, you would get a better experience from the titan.
