Hello.

I'd like what to ask what's the difference between the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 and the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5. Which one should I pick? I want be doing CrossFire or SLI but I want a hi-end motherboard. And should I get the Corsair TX 750w or the Seasonic m12ii 750w? Note that the Seasonic costs 50$ more here.

To answer your question both MB's would work fine. It all depends on what you're going to SLI and Crossfire. If you're doing a 3 way (3 cards) than you will need the UD5. If you're only doing a 2 way (2 cards) than save your money and get the UD3.

For PSU's my opinion would be go with Corsair. They make amazing PSU's for the price. 750 watts will be more than enough for a 2 way SLI but if you're going 3 way you may need more power depending on the cards.

If I may ask, what GPU's are you going to use?

Hope this helps!

Gigabyte 7970. Alright then I should go with the Corsair PSU. Is that the only difference between UD5 and UD3? Really?
