Help choosing a motherboard for an i5-3570k build

Hi everyone, i'm undecided on which motherboard i should get. I will be buying it tomorrow so i can't order off newegg or amazon, that being said i can't get an asrock. Asrock's are expensive and not widely carried (the pro4 is $130 at canada computers). I have a budget of around $130 but i stretched it a bit. My three choices are the asus p8z77v-lk ($140), the gigabytze ga z77x-d3h ($135), and the msi g45 ($130). I was planning to get whichever cheaper. I am not familiar with computers but will attempt to overclock later on when the cpu gets sluggish and i have read up and learned how to do it. The rest of my build is:

case: msi interceptor stealth series
processor: intel i5-3570k
video card: sapphire 7870xt
memory: corsair vengeance 2x4gb
hdd: either a seagate barracuda 1tb or wd black 500gb
psu: antec hcg 620m
wifi adapter: TP Link TL WDN4800
cpu cooling: cooler master 212 evo

More about choosing motherboard 3570k build
  1. ASUS P8Z77-V LK

Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H if you can get it.
  2. I can't, it's $155. it's out of my stretched out budget range. Maybe it will go on sale tomorrow.
  3. Then get the ASUS. Best board for the price in Canada.
  4. Here's a link to a Tom's roundup of intel motherboards for less than $160:

price isn't a deciding factor with Asus, its their shoddy QA and Customer Service you are gambling on....

ya ya best board, like i said its the board quality and CS that im more concerned about. Had 2 Asus B75 boards die within months of each other....
  8. That's sad to hear. I only buy from ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, ASrock. Da big four!
  9. to each their own, im using a EVGA Z77 FTW board atm and despite early bios issues its been rock solid. Also EVGA has excellent support.
  10. So i should go with the asus? That's what my brother recommended, since he has a p5n-d in his build and hasn't any trouble with it for the past few years.
  11. Yea just get it. Can't really get any better for the price range...
  12. How's the lx version of it? Do i lose anything other than crossfire/sli? I won't be using it so it's no loss to me. And is it worth saving $15?
