So I built my PC around 6 months ago? and I have to admit it was a rough build, but I believe in the end I had done everything correctly, and my PC was running fine (running skyrim at max etc) However I haven't used it lately as I've been busy with schoolwork etc, and I went to turn it on around a week or so ago and it doesn't seem to be working.
I press the power button, the fans and lights power up, the fan controller LED display powers up and is functional etc. It sounds like its starting up and working fine, but I don't get a video image on my display. The computer stays running, but an image does NOT display. I've tried switching the HDMI cable (the cable is working fine), the display works fine too (tested with ps3), I tried to bring up the boot menu by pressing F8 key repeatedly after startup (no success), I've unplugged EVERYTHING, let it calm down etc, and tried again. Nothings worked.
I really don't want to have to open her up, so if i'm just missing something obvious please let me know! I'm thinking could it be my graphics card? that would cause the lack of an image displayed right? The GPU was brand new 6 months ago though, and worked fine, hardly used.
I need some assistance here.
