7950 crossfire unigine heaven HELP Please

I'm sure my score is very low. I'm at stock with latest beta driver and caps.

Could someone with knowledge give me their advise. I'm definitely getting better performance in the few games I've tested so far but not a drastic improvement.

Scaling from 1 to 2 GPUs is consistent, that is good.. Have you run a single GPU test, with only the primary GPU installed (that way GPU would run at x16 speed)? If so, how did you score?

What scores are you achieving in single GPU and CF mode? What Unigine settings profile are you using? Are you using the most current Catalyst 13.4 version (vice an earlier beta)?

What are the specs for the rest of your system?

Make sure both Gpu have the same gpu core clock speed and ram. If not sli and crossfire won't work. Both set ups look for matching cards. Also run gpu-z read both card info if there the same cards see if the firmware is the same. On your mb make sure has all the bios updates. With gpu z make sure both cards running in 8x mode. Also look at your mn spec see if both slots run at 8x modes or is the main slot locked at 16x and the other at 4x.

The cards are in x8 and have the same firmware. Same clock speed also. There both identical xfx dd 7950. The only thing I've not done is update my motherboard bios. I've never done that b4 and seems daunting. It's quite a new board though (asrock extreme 4 z77).

Tessellation - Extreme
AA - x8
1920 x 1080

Single 7950 -
FPS: 27.7
Score: 697
Min FPS: 11.9
Max FPS: 59.8

7950 crossfire
FPS: 54.5
Score: 1374
Min FPS: 17.0
Max FPS: 120.0

Seems like crossfire is running ok. Im running 13.5 beta driver and caps.

Cpu temps are good for a 3570k @4.5ghz. Temps stay around 60c under game load. My cards temp between 60c - 70c and thats with 65% Fan. Ill have to take a card out and test on x16.

That score is probably just about right. Unigine Heaven is not a game, it's a benchmarking program, and as such doesn't know what a polygon budget is.

Here is my score with an AMD A8-6600K APU:

FPS: 3.7
Score: 93
Min: 2.4
Max: 6.8

I don't have my HD 7850 installed at the moment, but when I benchmarked it, it did around 15 fps average. Both of those with the same quality settings you're using.

ETA my 7850 score:

FPS: 20.1
Score: 505
Min: 9.2
Max: 46.1

By way of comparison.....

I run a couple of cheap HD7770s and got similar scores to you...ooops no mine are better.
On Extreme
51FPS Average
Score 1295

On High Normal.
64FPS Average
Score 1628

CPU is running at around 40C (Zalman CPNS14X air cool)
Sapphire Cards are running sightly lower.
Its hot in Japan today again.
