Hello. I am having a problem with my display, I have gtx 650 ti boost and when i upgraded the driver to 314.22 my tv only displays invalid format. I tried reinstalling the old driver but there's no difference. I also tried installing in safe mode. Please help!

I read on similar issues and I learned that "invalid format" means the tv cannot handle the resolution. My question now is how do I access the nvidia control panel to change the resolution? I tried it in safe mode but i cant access it there. hope someone can help me :(

Thanks

If you having this problem, start your computer press the window button from your key board if you have any game start that like i have vice city on 5 numberon my list i prees down button 4 times game starts but screen upside down then i prees ctrl+alt+down screen on. Now you can set screen resolution.2. If you have password on your computer type your password and press enter and do same as in 1 st step.
If you have no 3D Game then this will not work.

I have a Surface Pro 2 and I'm trying to connect it to an LG 32" LCD in a Marriott hotel. The TV has a Jack Pack connected to it.

Though I dropped my Surface all the way down to 640x480, even that lowest setting still produced "Invalid Format" on the TV. No matter what resolution I choose, still the same error message.

My Surface has a mini DisplayPort and I use a mini DP to HDMI cable; however, for the sake of troubleshooting, I've even tried mini DP to HDMI adapter to HDMI cable and still the same error message.

Any ideas on what else I should try?

Thanks!
