I ordered some Mod-Smart Kobra individually sleeved UV reactive PSU cable extensions to go with my SLI rebuild, but the PCI-E connectors have a square pin where the tapered/half hex pin should be in the lower middle/5th pin (maybe meant for mobos?).

Not keen to send them back as I really like their look and I will have to pay for freight back to Germany (I live in Sweden) unless I send the whole order back.

I mailed them and explained that they specified these where PCI-E extensions for GPUs and said I will keep my order if they can send me the proper connectors and a pin removal tool free of charge.

My question is can I reconnect these sleeved cables to the popper 6 pin PCI-E connectors without a large risk of frying my 2 GTX 680's?
