File transfer question

Hey all, i just installed a second HDD onto my Pc, and i have a few questions.

1. after transfering games accross and editing their path to the new drive, does this count as "editing" the game?

2. Does having 2 drives with near no room between each other in the case make any difference at all?

Almost certainly no. But in what context? The licensing of the game? "Thou shall not edit this game" ? No...that doesn't count.

Slight increase in heat, but it was designed for that.

Thanks for the reply, dead on with number 1, and thanks about number 2. As long as they wont burn out due to extra heat thats cool, thanks.

#1: I would guess you edited windows elements and not the game. Ie - the program shortcut and the registry.

You would be correct, I edited the shortcut.

If your game has registry entries that are file path specific, your game may not run properly. I'd make backups of the game saves, then uninstall the game and reinstall onto the other drive. Then copy the game saves to the new location.
