I feel like my new build I put together isn't as strong as it should be (I think). I would go to systemrequirementslab to see if I can run games, and it would tell me that my computer is above the recommended line. When I actually play, I'm getting the lowest frames ever and I cannot even play because it is so choppy.

AMD Phenom II 1045T @ 2.70GHz

ADATA DDR3 8GB RAM @ 1333MHz

Gigabyte AM3+ 760G mobo

XFX Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3

Thermaltake 500W PSU

Toshiba 7200RPM HDD

Can someone please tell me what my problem might be? I do not know that much about computers.

That GPU is quite weak, so you'd need the run the latest games in low details and resolutions to get a smooth framerate. I would reccomend getting a 7770/650ti or above if you're trying to play the latest games (especially if at 1080p).

it could even be your HDD not being fast enough, this happened to me recently, i thought my card was failing but after making several tests on my HDD i determined that it was running at half its normal speed
