My Current build is as follows:

Processor: i7 860 2.8GHz
RAM: 8GB
GFX: MSI Twin Frozr3 570
Motherboard: LGA1156
HD: 1.5TB internal / 1TB WD external

I'd like to add some new stuff my build for the new gen games on their way, so i ask you lot for some advice on what to get etc. New MB? Add second card / buy a new better one? SSD's? Wireless NAS system (quite partial to one of those Qnap type or Synology types) etc etc

Any help would be lovely. Also no newegg links since im from Scotland and they dont ship there iirc =[

Regards

Seeing as you're in the NVidia boat, I'd say that it's time to delve into SLI and pick up another 570. It isn't worth it to throw the current card away, yet.

If you just want to spend money on your computer (which is great) I think you should upgrade the processor, although it isn't necessary yet.

Mmmm SLI, was thinking of doing that. Although with Arma 3 on it's way and no word yet on if it will support SLI (Arma2 did not sadly iirc) and dunno if sli'ing now is worth it or wait n get a 600 series or higher card later.

As for Processors, what do you suggest i upgrade to? Not sure what's best. Also Any suggestions on SSD's etc?

Well upgrading your CPU means a new motherboard as well. Haswell is around the corner so I would hold off right now on upgrading because your current system is still fine. I would say get another 570, it is still a good card, and if you want to upgrade to Haswell when it comes out, you can just move the 570 SLI into the new system.

SSDs are great investments. Check out the Samsung 840 Pro for a good option. A 128GB boot drive will enhance your system greatly.
