I hope someone can help... I'm not the biggest technology person in the world, however I'm looking at creating a new style of gaming monitor, similar to the BenQ XL series in terms of spec.
I'm an artist and business man in this start up company, so the exterior design is the easy part, what I need to know according to the Chinese manufacturer is:
What is the panel data sheet?

If anyone can help it will greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Also if anyone has an interest in gaming and wants to be a part of this new sry up company, ask for my email and ill be happy to talk :)

Uh.... Chinese the manufacturer is asking what part you want to put in as the display. Do you even know what part you are going to use?

You need an electrical and display engineer if you want this project to actually work. Then you will need people with patent and regulatory experience. Preferably ones who have worked with Asian contract manufacturers before. If not, you are going to get robbed by them. Seriously, if you have never manufactured electronics before (and I can tell you have not) you need experienced people to help you.

Yh I realize it's obvious that I have never stepped foot into the electrical market until now, and I am greatful for your honest reply.

I will have a look into finding people with that experience. would you possibly be able to point me in anyones direction?
Thanks

My experience is only with large contract manufacturers. If I were you, I would look around to see if there are any industrial design companies in your area. Go to them with your idea and see if they can help you design something. They basically will create the look and feel of your product, but they also might know of smaller manufacturers or individuals in your area they have worked with to produce stuff, even if those people work for larger businesses. They might have some names or guidance for you.
