I am going to change the motherboard in my computer due to bad capacitors and i do not want to re-install windows. I know that i need to get a motherboard with the same model number to accomplish this but does it also have to have the same part number? the model number is m2n68-la and the part number is 5188-8534. this model seems to have 3 or 4 different part numbers but i dont know if this is because of different chipsets or less sata ports or what. BUt basically just want to know if they all will work or just the ones with the 5188-8534 part number. Thanks

the same model number should be fine, you will still need to activate windows with Microsoft again however.
