Hey guys. I'm from the philippines I want some help with my budget build. Basically, I want this to be a gaming build with a good upgrade path ahead. Also, an OS is included in the budget, preferabbly Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I'll be purchasing this build within May 21, 2013 onwards. I'll be buying this build in a local store but luckily, they have an online store with pricelists. Since im buying from their local store, im looking at the srp priceslist. You can find it at the left side of their website. Here's the link: www.pcx.com.ph

I preferably want an Intel build. Because of the upgrade path. Thanks. :)

Solution
Intel G2020 (2.9G) 3mb Pentium DC 2620
ECS B75H2-M3 V/S/GL/ usb3.0 2890
RipJaws 8gb 1600 (12800CL10S) 1x8 2890
EVGA GTX650 Ti SC 1gb ddr5 hdmi 7810
1.0TB WD Blue Sata3 7200rpm 3260

Balance for a casing good PSU and cheap keyboard and mouse (If you play FPS get 1600cpi)
I would like to add i3 but your budget is low

Then I suggest you post in a forum that caters there in your country as you said the prices are different. You can also go around Gilmore area, ask for price lists then plan from there.

Also, you could build a system around AMD's APU, the 5800k. Should be good for 720p gaming.

obvious you get less capacity (If that enough it is ok but keep in mind now these days games need 20gb) Full HD video consume lot of capacity

7790 is equal to 660 Ti not 7770. You might go for 7790 if you find ATI play better for your type of games

Yeah 500gb is enough for me. Ive got a 1tb external hardrive for my movies. And 7770 is good enough for me. Ive seen some benchmarks. Its okay.

Thanks. Also, is it better to get a single 8gb stick or 2 4gb sticks?

Single 8GB
1) Cheaper
2) Adding more component another chance of failure
3) Only one slot occupied so you can upgrade in future

Multi channel architecture perform better in theory but in real life we rarely see an performance increment. I got 2x 4GB because of a good offer.
