The other day my computer made some automatic driver updates one of them was for the motherboard. After the updates my frequency has been constantly in between 1,197 and 1,198 ghz, according to CPU z. It also says the multiplier is constantly x12. No matter what kind of programs i run, it won't get any higher. I'm using an I5 3210M, and have tried disabling any powersaving in the battery settings, and in the bios. Any suggestions / solutions appreciated! Using windows 8 btw

Something similar happened to me. I flashed the BIOs with the new update and things went back to normal.
