Hi guys, I'm looking for a monitor with resolution 1600x900 from 20 to 24 inches.Budget is under or around 200$

Here is my build:
CPU Core i5 3570k Quad-Core 3.4Ghz
MOBO ASrock z77 extreme6
RAM Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz
GPU Sapphire radeon HD 7950 3gb with boost 850Mhz
HDD Western Digital 7200RPM 1TB 64MB Hard Disk
PSU Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 650 watt or maybe lower...

Note I am not going to overclock anything, also my last monitor was 19 inch 1280x1024 native resolution and it was enough for me as long as i could play on highest settings.I don't think Sapphire radeon HD 7950 3gb will give me 60+fps in most games running on ultra settings at 1920x1080 resolution so i decided to go with 1600x900, help me out. Thanks for your time

7950...nothing less than 1920x1080. I really wouldn't suggest a 1600x900 cuz you are wasting the potential of your really good GPU. A 7950 will run almost all games (not Crysis 3) on Ultra with 4xMSAA, and still get 60fps.

For one monitor, look for: 24", IPS (not TN panel), 5ms response time, 1920x1080, and speakers don't matter. (monitor speakers are always very poor)

Thanks for your reply , i will follow your advice... I searched and found some 24" LCD LED ASUS and Viewsonic monitors 1920x1080 resolution, some with 5ms response time and some with 2ms.If u could suggest which one of them is best i would appreciate your help...

The Asus monitors you chose are TN panels. I highly recommend IPS panel for a good all around monitor. TN panels are better for super fast gaming, but I had a 8ms IPS monitor that I felt was ok for gaming. (I did end up buying a TN monitor for fun) IPS panels have better color accuracy and viewing angles. My conclusion, after using 2ms TN and 8ms IPS, I'd probably buy a 5ms IPS that would be great for everything.

These are good IPS monitors:

This one has a glossy screen but very popular:

Of those ones you chose I think they will all be good. I highly suggest searching for professional reviews. And plan on buying desktop speakers cuz the monitor speakers will suck.

Glad to help. IPS looks much better, and at 5ms its fast enough.

btw, if the monitor doesn't say IPS then it probably isn't. It's definitely a selling point.
