Hey guys!

Just wanted to ask if there is any point in looking at current components on the market such as ram, motherboards and gpu's if i am going to be building my pc when haswell comes out? Will these items still be compatible with haswell? I take it hdd's and power supplys will remain constant?

I wouldn't be buying the components just compiling a list so I'm ready to buy when haswell is released.

Thanks guys!

Yes and no. Over the summer you are going to see quite a bit of new stuff come out. This month Nvidia is releasing the 700 series. Then Haswell will be released along with motherboards that support it. But you can shop for PSUs, RAM, Cases, and SSDs. Those will mostly like not change.

Haswell is on different socket so we are waiting for new motherboards too.
So you can collect stuff like ram, storage and graphics card if you dont want to wait for new gtx 7xx

Another dumb question is how do i connect up to the internet once my build is done? Will it come with ethernet ports and cables or do i have to look out for them specially?
