PS4 or Gaming Rig?

Wait for PS4 to be released with some games and then decide. If it is a good system with a lot of good exclusives - go for PS4.

If it is a good system but most games are ported to PC and look/perform better on it - go for PC.

Sony has been very strong with exclusive content lately. This year the most compelling thing Xbox360 has going for it, is a new Gears game... with only about 3 total exclusives. Sony has The Last of Us, Ni no Kuni, Beyond Two Souls, God of War: Ascension, and a list of about 9 other games.... It's not a very close contest lately.

So... unless the PS4 costs an absurd amount of money, I'll be pretty interested in buying one.

None of those are PS4 games and God of War: Ascension sucks compared to other GoW games.
We don't know yet if PS4 streaming older games will be any good, so talking about PS3 exclusives while considering purchasing PS4 is useless.
