I have the computer which install Linux for learning. But I can't open many of websites, such us webboard, Blog, Twitter, softpdia, and other. When I direct connect to some url to install some packages of software from terminal but it's no use. Both condition have the same error messeges that tell "Can't find server". I use fedora 18 but I have uninstalled it and change to PCLinuxOS and then Mandriva, but have the same problem.

On the oher hand, All of Linux OS I said above, They are installed in VMware in the other computer, but have no that problem.

Could anyone of you know how to solve it.

more than that.

Many of Websites have a files download stores, I couldn't access too. That's why it's a big problem, because I couldn't access any files from those web. And couldn't access them from terminal too.

Here Are the screenshot of this problem

1. Can not open the web. All browser show like this.

2. But when use "Google Translate" or "Google's cache", They could be opened.

3. Some websites can be opened, but it's not complete, like this.

4. This is Google Chrome installation. It's couldn't be install on double-click and click "Install". It's shown like this.

5. Then I get it on terminal, but it can't install too.

What is your suggestion.

Failed dependencies usually mean:
1. you don't have the library package (make sure it's -dev version)
2. you have the library package, but not the correct version

Can you run a ping on webboard or blog from both your computer and the vm? Just want to check DNS is fine.

Yes, I can ping on websites I can't open.

I can ping any website on my computer, although browser can not access. and on VMware too

Yes, it is. It's the same IP

How to install those dependencies?

How do you normally install packages? Use the package manager. Go one by one and see if you have it installed. I can't really read the first one. The second one is libcurl. Do you have that installed?

It's important to learn how your package manager works. I personally don't use Red Hat so I am not familiar with its rpm.

And did you say that you can access the webboard and blog in your vm web browser, but not in your desktop's web browser?

First you might want to check if your Ethernet is configured with Automatic DHCP and not Automatic DHCP address only under IPv4 and IPv6.

Just in case Google's DNS are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4, put into your Ethernet configuration as additional DNSs.
