So i built a new PC the specs are:

Intel Core i5 3470 3.20GHz Socket 1155 6MB L3 Cache

G-Skill 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz RipjawsZ X79 Memory Kit CL9 1.5V

Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Socket 1155 VGA DVI HDMI 8 Channel Audio mATX Motherboard

Corsair 500W CX Builder 80 Plus Bronze PSU

Yesterday i was playing a game of League of Legends and i got a blue screen saying something about malicious software then my PC restarted, and ive just being in a game now but this time i didnt get a blue screen it just crashed for a second then restarted.

Im using a hard drive that i used with my old PC that was AMD so it has other drivers maybe that could be the problem?

Thanks.

Hi Wrath Lool!

I see two major problems.

The 1st is the message about the malicious software, and the 2nd, about the Hdd you're using.

If you have a new motherboard, and you're still using the same Hdd that ran with the old mobo, you're going to run into a lot of problems. I'm surprised that your system even booted at all. I'd say you do a backup of your documents and other important files and completely do a new OS install on the Hdd.

This would actually hit two birds with one stone, because if you have a virus, then it will be eradicated.

Good luck!

Yes, you should get a new Hdd asap, or at the very least, have a backup of your important files.

I just recently had an experience with a noisy Hdd, and ignored it, and I lost a lot of important files.
