Hey guys,

I ordered an SSD for my first computer build: The Samsung 840 Pro, and I'm loving it, but it did not come with mounting screws, which is a pain because my case (Corsair 800d) has screw holes for SSD's in the hotswappable drive bay. Does anyone who owns this drive or is just tech savvy know the dimensions of the screws for this SSD so I can properly mount it in the drive bay? Because right now its just dangling in the case and it is not visually pleasing. Thanks for any advice you can give.

The Samsung 840 Pro SSD is a 2.5" 7mm (Ultraslim) Form Factor drive.

This link seems to suggest that 7mm SSDs use M2-3 (M2 3mm) screws.

Here's one place where you can buy them. http://www.amazon.com/Machine-Screws-3MM-Pack-100/dp/B009TDQFD0/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1367601693&sr=1-1

You can do additional searches if you want to get them somewhere else, or if you want to see if you can get them cheaper.

Thanks for the quick response, Dereck. So if I am correct this size is a standard laptop screw size? So this should fit the drive? http://www.amazon.com/Machine-Phillips-Toshiba-Fujitsu-Alienware/dp/B00BW3QQRA/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A138F068021DBJ

I bought Phillips head M2 x 3mm screws. They are WAY too small. Did I miss read this post?
