Solution
There really isn't any benefit in using the fx 6300 over the Phenom II 965 for gaming. I actually just upgraded(3 days ago) from a Phenom II 940 oc'ed to 3.5ghz(putting just above the 965 stock for raw mhz) and I can tell you, I don't notice much difference between that and my i5 3570k. I know the new 3570k is better, but I don't notice it.

You have a really decent budget build, with the ability to upgrade to the next generation AMD Cpu's in a years time if you want to. I'd say purchase it with confidence.

:edit: You don't have an aftermarket heatsink/fan listed for your Cpu. Possibly the greatest thing about AMD right now is their ability to overclock all of their Black Edition Cpu's. That 965 would probably hit 3.9ghz without...

That 965 would probably hit 3.9ghz without even trying(up from 3.4ghz). The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is a great choice for around 33 dollars, or if you'd be willing to way the Noctua NH-U12s will be around 60 dollars or so when it's finally available, and it's been getting some really great reviews.
