Networking and Windows 7 problems

Hello,I got a problem with my network adapter,When I connect to the internet,my laptop freeze and stop working,I can't do anything,and I've to turn off directly by pressing the main switch.But,when I log on in Safe Mode,I can connect to the internet and surfing without any problems.So,what are the problem?It's the network adapter problem or my OS/Windows 7? Thank you.

Try the following: download the network card drivers from the laptop's manufacturer website, save to HDD. Remove the network adapter and uninstall driver from Control Panel/Device Manager. Search for hardware changes > Win7 will detect the card and ask to install the driver for it> point to the driver downloaded earlier and proceed to install it.
Please report back after all that; if still same problem, repeat the above, but let Windows go online and search for best driver instead.
