I currently own the netgear r6300 and I personally don't like it. I get multiple internet connection drops, pings are high and my DL speeds vary all the time. I'm suppose to get 8Mbps but end up around 2 or 3.
I can confirm it's the router because I have a older linksys with tomatoe firmware and it never has a problem. The only problem with it is it doesn't have gigabyte speeds.
I was thinking about this one ASUS RT-AC66U or do you think I should just wait it out? Thanks
