Overclocking my rig

Hi everybody, I actually made an account here a long time ago and completely forgot about it!

Well, I've been reading a lot about overclocking and I know it is very system specific but I was wondering if anybody could give me any guidelines on overclocking my system. I am mainly concerned about running Arma II OA better on my computer as right now I get completely terrible frames. I know Arma is very heavy on CPU so I was thinking about overclocking mine!

My main concerns are to what speed I should overclock to (stock 3.3) as well as VCore (whatever that is). Also, I was concerned about having too little voltage on my PSU. (400w) If possible I would like to overclock my GPU, but my main concern is my CPU as it seems to be bottlenecking my system. So, if my PSU only has enough power to overclock the CPU that would be fine.

My stock temperatures are as of right now are : CPU: 30 C GPU: 41C

Here is my system. I know it's prebuilt but it's the only option I had at the time. (Got this computer at Christmas).

Thanks a ton!

Well I'm getting bad frames in a very CPU intensive game. And battlefield runs very well with up to 50-60 frames, so my video card isn't a problem.

So as Blackbird said, just update my PSU and get an aftermarket cooler? Is it possible to overclock and just run a stress test looking at temperatures and if the temperature gets too high then shut down the computer? Will a test in itself be pose a possible danger? I mean if temperatures climb too high I can shut it down and not overclock until I get a new cooler.

Will not having enough power in the 400w also pose an immediate danger if I just want to test overclocking w/o upgrading right away?

Thank you for your responses.

Is there any specific PSU you guys could suggest?

Also, as somewhat of a side question:

Is there a specific way to determine what is limiting my Arma 2 frames? I know it's a CPU intensive game but I would just like to know what extent. If my CPU usage is at 100 percent, for example and my GPU usage is low, does this mean that the CPU is limiting it as well?

But I'm also concerned of what to think If I see something such as 50 GPU usage and 30 CPU usage which could result of a poorly optimized game. I.e. arma 2.

Thanks!
