Need Help With Acer Aspire G3620

Hey, just bought an acer aspire g3620, I don't know if any one has one of these or knows anything about them, but I'm looking to upgrade the cpu at some point. Its i3 2120 and I wish to upgrade to i7 3820. But here's my problem... its a gaming pc (brand new) opened her up to check to see what I'm dealing with.. and well it has an acer mobo without a code or any identity codes what so ever. so I have no idea whether upgrading is gonna fry my mobo and or components. here's the full specs. (btw the manuals that came with it are use-less and give no info on upgrading or info on the current components.

Intel i3 2120 3.30Ghz
AMD Radeon Hd 7870 2-4GB GDDR5 1Ghz
8GB Of Stock Ram (Planned Upgrade to 16)
1TB HDD

You will need to change your mobo, period. Number 1 you are trying to upgrade to to a third generation processor, so it is not compatible with your second gen. I reccomend that you buy a average z77 lga 1555 mobo with a 3770k cpu (from Mircocenter or Newegg).

You can upgrade to a 2nd gen i5 processor. Your current i3 uses LGA 1155 socket which means you can upgrade to an i5 2nd gen (I read the LGA 1155 socket manual via intel's site: you can upgrade to any i3 i5 or i7 as long as it is in the "2000" series.)
