Saphire HD 6670 game problem

Hi guys , I just bought a sapphire HD 1GB ddr5 from an outlet

I played assassins creed at first and it was fast like hell , I got happy and uninstalled it and played GTA 4 with high settings but it was slow , so i uninstalled it and played assassins creed again , Now its on same speed but it hangs for a second like a glitch , but it never happened before , please help me out , I spent 5000 for this card and i want the best , what might be the problem ,

system specs:

AMD ATHLON 64 X2 5000+ dual core processor 2.6Ghz
2 GB DDR2 RAM
SAPPHIRE RADEON HD 6670 DDR5 1GB Hyper Memory
250 GB HDD


P.S - I cant spend more money in upgrading PC , also it played good before , so plz suggest what might be wrong , am going to upgrade my PC ram to 4 gb within two days

Zebronics PSU and 450 W . It worked in the beginning but now am having Lags!! Will upgrading RAM solve the problem?

I used MSI after burn

GPU temp average 50%
Gpu memory usage maximum is 250 MB (mine is 1 GB)
Memory clock reaches 1000mhz sometimes
core clock reaches its uplimit sometimes too !!


What to do now
still i hav lags!!

If your GPU is only 50% used, then it sounds like your CPU is bottlenecking. I am not sure why it would have changed though.
Make sure you don't have anything loading the CPU in the background.

So what shall i do now??? shall i overclock my processor or get a new one?
